Live, Work, and Play Residential Buildings

Over the past couple of decades, developers have added the Live/Work/Play idea into more neighborhoods. On a smaller scale, even when looking at residential pole barns, clients asked Lester Buildings to build more than their residences. They wanted offices, shops, and other hobby spaces. People want their own places to live, work, and play.

Allen Randa of Sapphire Construction, Inc. and his family have been building beautifully crafted homes for generations. Now they have teamed up with Lester Buildings to bring post-frame construction to Central Colorado. Referred to as all buildings or pole barns, post-frame building adds the versatility and prices that our clients deserve.

Lester Buildings offers custom home design and our clients love it. They often choose to incorporate large shops or hobby buildings into the residential plans. If you are building a new home, you want it to be strong and durable, cost effective, and good-looking. You want it to come with a great warranty. Good news! Sapphire Construction will build your dreams.

Dreaming? If you want to start designing, and it’s late at night, go to the planning section at Lesterbuildings.com. Several popular home designs are shown. For example, there is The Pine, The Magnolia, in The Redwood. And you can download any of those plans.

Custom-Designed Residential Buildings

Or you can branch out into multi-use buildings to suit your needs. Below see three sample residential buildings. They include living quarters and space to accomplish other kinds of activities.

sliding door and a Bale door.

The well-thought-out floor plan includes a living area, bedroom, full bath, and kitchen. The beautiful stone patio is echoed with the stone wainscot. Inside is a fireplace. Measurements are 36’ x 48’ x 10’. The rustic metallic champagne and Barn Red color choice would blend beautifully into the Colorado landscape.

Project #117025

This pole barn supplies plenty of protected garage space. Note those striking mansard roof covers. An outdoor staircase leads to the living quarters, the bunkhouse retreat. Done in wood, Cedar, log, and timber, the Evergreen trim accents the earthy tones. The attractive building measures 40’ x 64’ x 20’.

Post-Frame Construction

#117025

Residents enjoy the open floor plans afforded by our post-frame construction methods. This type of construction eliminates the need for interior posts and loadbearing walls. The interior and exterior design elements found in traditional homes can be included in a pole barn home. Choose from an infinite number of custom options.

Just imagine having a great space, even up to 120 feet of clear span. Places to live, to work, and play can fit under one big beautiful and strong roof.
