A pole building features vaulted ceilings and plenty of wall space to hang kayaks, fishing boats, skis, and other recreation equipment. Boats are packed on large pallets. Using forklifts, these pallets are lifted into place on oversized shelving units. This allows for more boats to be stored on smaller acreage.
Other boat storage facilities prefer to implement self-storage. Boat owners simply rent an individually locked unit. Often these units are inside of a fenced area. All units are on ground level and accessible 24/7.
